Submit Your Work for Editorial Assessment/Consideration
We need to know some basic details about you and the work you are submitting. Provide the following to begin the editorial process.
1) Author’s Inquiry – This will be a short letter from the author, or the author’s representative, that serves as a self-assessment of the work, as well as a statement that describes the author’s goals/ambition for the work. If, after reading through descriptions of the services we offer, you have already determined your need(s) (manuscript assessment, copy editing, proofreading, etc.), that information should be included. In our experience, however, most authors submit because they are uncertain of what editorial consideration is in order, so it is fine to submit for assessment purposes. This inquiry should not be longer than one page and should be submitted as an attachment in the Microsoft Word format. Please include full name, phone number, physical address and any other information that you might consider relevant.
2) Author’s Bio – A brief history about the writer, especially facts that relate to why the writer wrote the book.
3) Submission Annotation/Synopsis/Book Description – A specific description of the work submitted, including character, plot, themes and genre. It should not be longer than one page and should also be submitted as an attachment in the Microsoft Word format.
4) Manuscript Submission – For digital submissions, please send your entire manuscript as a Microsoft Word file. However, if you are submitting hard copy (a physical manuscript), send only the first one hundred pages of your work. We will contact you to let you know if we are interested in reading the rest of your book. We really want to help develop authors, so we will make every effort to give your work our generous consideration.
